BROMPHENIRAMINE; PSEUDOEPHEDRINE (Bromfed® and others) contain a decongestant and an antihistamine. It can help relieve runny nose, nasal or sinus congestion (stuffiness), sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes that may occur with hay fever (seasonal allergies). Generic brompheniramine; pseudoephedrine products are available.
They need to know if you have any of the following conditions: •asthma, emphysema, or other lung disease •blood vessel disease •diabetes •pain or difficulty passing urine (urinary retention) •glaucoma or other eye disease •heart disease or heart rhythm problems •high or low blood pressure •kidney disease •liver disease •over active thyroid •prostate trouble •seizure disorder •stomach or intestinal problems •wear contact lenses •an unusual or allergic reaction to brompheniramine, pseudoephedrine, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives •pregnant or trying to get pregnant •breast-feeding
